Ferrari 400 - Decontamination And Polish

Vehicles

Ferrari Specialist carry out a full Decontamination and Polish on this Ferrari 400

As a Ferrari Specialist we were blown Away when this amazing Ferrari 400 arrived for a two stage Kamikaze Enrei ceramic coating package.

The client also wanted a deep gloss shine, so we chose two particular products.

Firstly the Kamikaze’s Enrei and secondly the ISM Pro.

The Kamikaze Enrei is a 2 part coating, that has the best of both worlds with the strength in the base coat.

To finish off and give that superior glossy finish, we applied the ISM Pro, to give that slick glossy top layer.

However, before we could start on this amazing Ferrari 400 we had to carry out our standard pre work inspection and preparation

As all vehicles MUST be fully decontaminated and polished before an application to ensure that the coating can fully bond to the surface. Polishing the paint before an application is paramount to the overall finish, if the paint is not polished the ceramic coating will ‘lock in’ swirled paint, leaving a sub-standard finish.

Prior to any ceramic coatings application Marque One Detailing will undertake the following steps to ensure the paint is perfectly prepared for the coating. These steps are undertaken on every ceramic application, this is known as the ‘preparation’ stage

Work That was carried out

However before we could start work on bring paint work of this Ferrari 400 back to its former pristine best.

As a Ferrari Specialist we carried out our standard pre detailing inspection and preparation.

Which included a full decontamination, including the following, before we could start on the paint correction process.

Washing

Hand washing, Drying, In depth decontamination,

Inspection

Paint depth readings, Pad and polish choice,

Post polishing inspection.

Sealants. Waxes,

When the above was completed, we were able to then start the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of a vehicle as part of a “Paint Correction” process.

This process is mostly through the elimination of surface imperfections, that dull, oxidize, or haze the surface by reflecting light off in various directions, therefore detracting from a true, proper, clean and sharp reflection
