An Interesting Fact About Jaguar
The Jaguar company began in 1922 by a pair of motorcycle enthusiasts who got into the motorcycle sidecar making business.
The new business didn’t even closely resemble what it has become today. William Lyons and William Walmsley established the Swallow Sidecar Company.
The owners began with motorcycle accessory production which evolved over a short period of time to coachbuilding, and then made the transition to automobile manufacturing.
