Porsche Zagato - Paint Correction

We were called into our friends at Export 56 to under take a decontamination and special Paint Correction on this rare Porsche Zagato .

On inspection this classy lady required an extensive decontamination and paint correction

Work That was carried out

However before we could start work on bring paint work of this truly rare and amazing Porsche Zagato back to its former pristine best, we had to carry out our standard pre detailing inspection and preparation.

Which included a full decontamination, including the following, before we could start on the paint correction process.

Prior to any ceramic coatings application Marque One Detailing will undertake the following steps to ensure the paint is perfectly prepared for the coating.

These steps are undertaken on every ceramic application, this is known as the ‘preparation’ stage.

Washing

Hand washing, Drying, In depth decontamination,

Inspection

Paint depth readings, Pad and polish choice,

Post polishing inspection.

Sealants. Waxes,

When the above was completed, we were then able to start the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of the vehicle as part of the “Paint Correction” process, When this process was completed, it was then finished off with a Kamakazi Enrei coating.

The paint correction process is mostly through the elimination of surface imperfections, that dull, oxidize, or haze the surface, by reflecting light off in various directions, which, therefore detracts from a true, proper, clean and sharp reflection.

The interior was also awaiting some work and recolouring, as well as removing some other blemishes before we could fully finish this wonderful old lady.

This is a perfect example of an “Old school” Porsche at its best!
